Afterwards we will take a road that winds over the mountains north of Cusco. On the way we will stop at a point known as El Mirador, from where we will be able to see the whole Sacred Valley and receive a good insight of the Inca history.
The Sacred Valley was undoubtedly a key area of settlement to the Incas; its combination of agreeable climate and fertile plains bestow an unusual abundance for the high Andes. Here the Incas sculpted the mountain flanks with vast contour terracing and irrigation channels. Our driver and guide will suggest you the best points for pictures.Later on, we will drive towards the ruins of Pisac. At the ruins you will see and learn about different aspects of Inca culture. You can see a great fine art of stone works and impressive agricultural terraces all over the place. The train leaves at 19:00 h, towards to Aguas Calientes, the train starts to descend gradually along the edge of the Urubamba River, till finally reach the cloud forest. After approximately 1 hours and 45 min. we will have arrived in Aguas Calientes, where a transfer will welcome you and then will escort you to the hotel, where you have time for to enjoy the hot springs ,in the evening our tour guide will visit to your hotel for our briefing time during the evening.
Third day: Machupicchu Excursion - Cusco
After our delicious breakfast we will continue by bus up to the ruins of Machu Picchu. The bus ride to the sanctuary of Machu Picchu lasts around 25 minutes and it follows a steep winding path, offering spectacular views of the surrounding mountains. Upon our arrival, we will get into the archaeological zone of Machu Picchu and our guide will show us the most important sectors of this great Inca City, such as the great Intiwatana (solar clock), the Sun Temple, the urban sector, the agricultural sector among others. Machu Picchu was long thought to be legendary.
Then in 1911, the explorer Hiram Bingham stumbled upon it remains. Machu Picchu stands 2,430 m above sea-level, in the middle of a tropical mountain forest, in an extraordinarily beautiful setting. It was probably the most amazing urban creation of the Inca Empire at its height; its giant walls, terraces and ramps seem as if they have been cut naturally in the continuous rock escarpments. The natural setting, on the eastern slopes of the Andes, encompasses the upper Amazon basin with its rich diversity of flora and fauna. The guided tour in Machu Picchu will last about 2 hours, and afterwards you will have free time to explore the ruins on your own. At around 14:00hrs, we will take the bus down to Aguas Calientes, where you will have time for lunch and also to explore this colorful town that utterly filled with souvenirs shops, restaurants, bars, internet cafes etc. Finally, at around 16:43 hrs, we take the train back to Poroy train station , where our transfer is waiting for you. and then transferred to your hotel.
Fourth day : Maras Moray and Salt mines Tour
We leave from Cusco city approx. at 9:00 am , traveling to Chinchero an Andean town crossing the agriculture areas. Here we will pass the town of Maras directly to our main destination of the circles of Moray with view of the snow carpets of the cordillera Vilcanota Moray Inca agriculture laboratory, the circles of Moray, constructed on stone in descending circles in a volcano crater, uniformly constructed 150 metres deep, which are used to adapt crops to the new ecosystem of the Andes. With an irrigation system, also being constructed with a filtration system to avoid flows and damage to crops.
Also in the deepest circle, many ceremonies to the earth (Pacha Mama) after that we will continue to Salineras of Maras (Maras Salt mines) are located, one of the biggest mysteries of nature. From the depths of the mountain sprouts a spring of extremely salty water and since the Incas ruled these lands these salt mines have been made up from about 3000 small wells with an area average size of about 4 ms ² and 10cm deep. Those are being exploited until the modern era, producing salt by natural evaporation where a simple natural process of salty water fills up the wells allowing the sun to hit and evaporate the water with the remaining substance left being pure natural salt then we return to Cusco city at 14:30 pm.

Frequently Asked Questions-(FAQ)
Is altitude sickness common? And how high is the Machu Picchu? It's impossible to predict who will be affected by altitude. Your ability to adapt to high altitude is determined by your genetic makeup and has little to do with fitness or health. Most people will have no problems as long as they take the time to acclimatize properly. A full 1 day spent in Cusco (3399m), taking it very easy and drinking plenty of water is enough for some people but if you can arrange to have minimum 2 days in case of any travel disruptions as well then this is what we recommend as there is also so much to do here!. The highest point you will reaches 2500 m on the 2nd day in Machu Picchu. Will I need to bring water? We recommend that you purchase a 1.5 – 2 liter bottle of water to take with you on the day, Also, you will be able to buy water along the way and of course at Machu Picchu. Is the Machu Picchu Tour good during the rainy season? Some people actually like to go during the rainy season because there are fewer tourists but we say please be prepared for wet weather and have suitable clothes or rain jackets. Will I be able to climb Huayna Picchu Mountain? As long as you book and pay well in advance for certain dates in high season it may be necessary to pay 3 -4 months in advance, Last minute bookings of this tour will possibly miss out on permits in high season so we can include the Machu Picchu Mountain permit instead, The trail to Huayna Picchu is safe, very steep with use of chains and not recommended for those with vertigo. It is about an hour and a half round trip. and there are only 2 times during the day it can be climbed with a sign in and out security system. What is an ISIC card? How can I use it to get a discount? This card means International Student Identity Card (ISIC) and is the internationally accepted form of student identification. The government accepts ISIC for discounts for the entrance to Machu Picchu. You must scan your ISIC card to you at the time of your booking and carry your ISIC card on the trek. Will I need any extra money? It is indispensable such as the natural hot springs in Aguas Calientes (10 soles), and tips for your staff, souvenirs, snacks in Machu Picchu, bottled water, drinks, etc. You should take cash in soles. Do Tour guides speak English?Completely fluent in English . Our guides are also one of the most popular aspects of our tours some of them being historians and archaeologists and all demonstrate a great passion for their culture and heritage.
